Kenneth Griffith loved his collections and was at his happiest when sharing his joy of collecting with his friends.

His professional life in the acting world was significant and the documentaries he produced covered the causes closest to his beliefs with the Anglo Boer War being predominant.

It is Argyll Etkinís great privilege to have placed his philatelic collections in the hands of other enthusiasts over four sales spanning 2001-2004. This auction comprised his reference library, diaries, photo albums, paintings, Prisoner of War handicrafts, bronzes and autographs. It is our pleasure to have placed his items, 85% of which sold - an exceptional result for Kennethís family - into the hands of fellow enthusiasts to ensure they will continue to be enjoyed.

Argyll Etkinís next Auction is on 8th and 9th March 2007 in London featuring the Christopher Cruttwell collection of Cyprus. Formed over 60 years, this remarkable collection includes all the Queen Victoria stamp issues, specimens, colour trials, exceptional pre-stamp mail, Ottoman and Austrian Post Offices, Great Britain used in Cyprus and Cyprus overprint issues on cover, village and rural post office cancels, airmails, military mail, censors, wartime mail and much more.

Our March sale also includes the fine collections of German East Africa/Tanganyika, Ecuador and Bolivia formed by Christopher Cruttwell; GB Registered mail, Aviation covers, Trinidad, Brazil, Colombia SCADTAS, St Lucia and the Tom Todd collection of Dockwra handstruck stamps.
