Description
Turkish stamps (15 including two pairs, six stamps on five pieces) all cancelled at Camaran Island, the cancels comprising Coles and Walker types 55 (3, used 1895-1901), 56 (11 stamps, one on piece struck in blue, unrecorded in this colour by C. & W., this cancel used from 1901) or the scarce type 57 (on piece, used 1914-16). A scarce group.
