President Ahmed Zogu, 1q to 5f, S.G.193/203, distributed through the U.P.U. as Specimen stamps in normal mint condition without first being overprinted “SPECIMEN”. The receiving postal administration affixed the stamps to hrecords in their archives (thus all are without gum) and applied a “SPECIMEN” handstamp as a security measure, subsequently releasing them officially from the archives.
