Description
1929 1 on 50q, 5 on 25q, 15 on 10q, SG.259/261, distributed through the U.P.U. as Specimen stamps in normal mint condition without first being overprinted “Specimen”. The Receiving Postal Administration affixed the stamps to records in their Archives and applied a “SPECIMEN” handstamp as a security measure, subsequently releasing them officially from the Archives.
