Description
1d Pink Lettersheet from Edgbaston to London cancelled by boxed “P.P./PAID” with “Edgbaston/Penny Post” alongside. Also a stampless 1847 cover with the boxed “P.P./PAID” handstamp. The first example of this Penny Post handstamp we have seen cancelling a 1d pink stationery item, possibly unique as such. (2).
