Tristan da Cunha 1934
Stampless cover (flap missing, corner tear) to London endorsed “Tristan da Cunha” with a Cape Town Paquebot c.d.s., octagonal framed “T / 20c” and a 2d charge mark, a 2d postage due stamp applied at Stoke Newington. The Rev. Partridge went on leave from May 1933 to February 1934 taking the Tristan cachet with him, letters sent during this period therefore have no cachet but are endorsed “Tristan da Cunha” instead.
